Prepare For Your Appointment
Before Arriving
Please come to your appointment makeup free, and plan to keep your lashes dry for 24 hours. Do not wear waterproof mascara or strip lashes for at least a week before your appointment. It is extremely difficult and time consuming to remove. Any residue will prevent your extensions from adhering properly.
Feel free to bring in your own blanket, music, or headphones. Anything you need to relax and feel calm.
Plan to keep your eyes closed for 2-3 hours. Avoid drinking caffeine or too much water before your appointment. Caffeine can make your eyelids twitch which makes it hard for proper lash application.
Plan to have your phone on silent for the duration of your appointment. You will not be able to open your eyes to check text messages, or answer calls.
Let your technician know anything else you need to feel comfortable or any concerns you may have.
Lastly, prepare for some awesome beauty therapy or the best nap of your life!
Aftercare
DO:
- Wait 24 hours to get your lashes wet
- Wash your lashes daily
- Brush your lashes into place morning and night
- Use extension safe serum
- Come in for a fill every 2/3 weeks
DON'T:
- Use any products that contain oil (this includes cream eye shadow, liquid liners, and any products labeled as waterproof or "long lasting")
- Wear mascara, especially waterproof
- Twist, pull, or bend your extensions
- Use lash curlers
- Come into close contact with heat that could singe or straighten your extensions (fire, stove, hair dryer, etc.)
